Back for DD's Housewarming

Just back not very long. Had a nap at home before heading out for a trim at Suntec. Think i look "cooler" with this hairdo ... both aesthetically and physically. heehee.

Anyway, housewarming was really nice. It is just overwhelming to see most of the batch gals and guys again, adding to the fact that we were making full use of DD's new nest for this gathering.

Newly renovated, the house has a sleek kitchen in white motifs, beautifully wallpapered dining area and a spacious living room. The choice of furniture is also exquisite and quite suitable for the theme in each room.

Okay, back to people and their meals, we had some canapés as appetisers, which left us hungering for more food. Next a round of drinks (chilled earl grey tea and coca-cola), followed by the highlight of twin pasta (tomato and cream based carbonara). We also had a late comer, AEC, who came over as soon as he touched down into singapore. super cool. He had no carbonara, so he has to settle for instant noodles.

We shared the graduation piece with everyone on TV till about 1120pm, when most of us have got to go home.

After all the farewells and an open invitation to chill at his place again, DD just slammed the door shut at out face ... *shudders*. Sorry sorry *ahem* he closed the door to clean up the apartment we have messed up after an enjoyable night.

Today has been rather uneventful for me in thoughts, although we had a mini reunion of sorts. Let's hope that things will get better for most of us. Dun worry 863, hang on there, cos there has never been a better time to be in this career. Corporate expansion will almost guarantee your continuous existence in the company, that way you can plan for your own agendas without worrying about loss of job. =)
